Swedish flatpack Furniture Lands on the West Bank

Meatballs in the Middle East? Swedish retailer Ikea is in talks to open a new store in the Palestinian town of Ramallah. The manufacturer of affordable, assemble-it-yourself furniture is sure to be a hit with the increasing population made up of aid agency employees, NGO operatives and spill over from nearby Birzeit University.  Read the story at Quartz.
